Schedule Updates

We have added the 2007 Coloured Belt Testing Schedule, The 2007 Demo Team Practice Schedule and the 2007 Tournament Team Practice schedule. Windsor Picture Day Update

Dear Parents & Students,

An update on picture day in Windsor on Saturday November 25th. We will start pictures at 9:00am, and work as fast as possible to get people in and out. A breakdown of the sizes and costs is below.

Please, when you are at the school sign the sheet at Master Scott's desk, or if you are coming from Belle River or Tecumseh please email Master Art with your intention of participation. You don't need to make a decision on sizes till picture day.

Picture Day In Windsor

Dear Parents & Students,

On Saturday November 25^th we will be having a picture day in Windsor. Photographer Richard Ireland will be coming to the Windsor School at 9:00am on that day to take pictures of any student interested in having their picture taken in uniform. The cost of these portrait style pictures is very reasonable, and I will have the exact detail shortly.

We are planning on setting up picture days in both Tecumseh and Belle River, however the Windsor day is also open to all students at all locations. There will be signup sheets at each school.

Just a few reminders of important dates on the calendar this month. First on Saturday November 18th is Black Belt testing. This is a small testing this time out, but the event is scheduled to start at 2:00pm. Come on in a watch the event!

Also on Saturday is our Tournament Team practice in Windsor. This is scheduled for 10:30am.

Sunday November 19th at 2:00pm in Windsor we are having our first Parent Committee meeting. If you need more information on this please contact me at instructor@thepeacefulwarriors.org.

On a final note, this past weekends CMATC was an amazing event once again for all those who participated! Sadly, this event will not be happening in 2007. It has been a yearly conference for about 8 years now, but Grand Master Stewart has decided to move on to other things. On a brighter note, I would like to personally congratulate Master Scott Mason, Pu Sa Bum Nim Stephen White and Kyo Sa Nim Kevin Miller on their successful tests for 1st Dan Black Belt in the art of Kyusho Jitsu. Great work gentlemen! See the December Newsletter for pictures, video and highlight of the final CMATC.

Class Friday November 10th

Just a note about classes Friday November 10th 2006. Due to the CMATC in London this coming weekend classes will be cancel at our Belle River and the following schedule will be in affect that day in Windsor. This is due to so many Black Belt Instructors being in London for training.

Windsor

6:00-6:45 PM Junior BBC
6:45-8:15 PM Adult All Belt

Normal operation is scheduled for Saturday classes and normal schedules will resume on Monday. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Christmas Toy Drive

Dear Parents & Students:

The holiday season is fast approaching. At this time every year, for the last 5 years, we as a school have participated in the Windsor Firefighters / Lions Club Christmas Toy Drive for underprivileged children in our city. Every year the response is AMAZING.

So once again it is time. Please bring one (or more if you choose) NEW UNWRAPPED toy to your Peaceful Warriors School by Friday December 1st 2006. These will then be collected from all 3 locations and delivered to the Firefighters for distribution.
