Dear Parents & Students,

After discussions with members of the Parent's Committee, due to lack of volunteers and donations the Car Wash Scheduled for the Essex Home Hardware this weekend has been cancelled.

It will be rescheduled to another time at a later date.

Events in May

Dear Parents & Students,

Here is an outline of coming events this month. I want to make sure everyone is kept up to date to avoid any miss communications. May is always one of the busiest months of our year.

Black Belt Extravaganza!

Kyusho Pre-College. On Friday May 25th at 7:00pm at our Windsor School Grand Master Stewart is holding a Kyusho Pre-College for anyone interested in obtaining a Black Belt in Kyusho Jitsu. Please download the application form and get it into the school ASAP.

Children's Seminar with GM Stewart. On Saturday May 26th at 10:00am Grand Master Stewart will be holding a special children's session at our Windsor School. This is a fun and exciting time for anyone White Belt to Blue Belt and under the age of 14. The cost is only $25, and will be a time your child will not forget! Get your applications in ASAP as space is fast running out. Download an application.

Black Belt Testing . Black Belt testing is on Saturday May 26th starting at 2:00pm SHARP.

BBX Seminars. The BBX seminars are being held on Sunday May 27th at Riverside Arena. The start time is 10:00am. These seminar are part of the BBX testing students scheduled, but are also open to all Red Belts and any Black Belts not testing. Download your application NOW!

Car Wash in Essex - Sunday May 20 the Parent's Committee will be holding a car wash at the Essex Home Hardware. We need lots of help!This event will run from 9:00am till 2:00pm. For more information please DOWNLOAD the flyer.

Holiday Weekend - A reminder that our school will be closed Saturday May 19th and Monday May 21st for the Victoria Day Weekend. Normal classes schedules will resume Tuesday May 22nd.

Coloured Belt Testing - This month testing will be held in Windsor on Thursday May 24th starting at 6:00pm. The reason for the change in schedule this month is the Black Belt Extravaganza.

Friday May 25th 2007 - There are no classes scheduled for Belle River due to the BBX. The juniors BBC Class in Windsor will be held at the usual time of 6:00pm. Master Club & Adult Master's Club & BBC are cancelled.

Saturday May 26th. - Morning classes are cancelled in Windsor for BBX events mentioned above.

Student Guide - An updated Student Guide will be released on Tuesday May 15th.

Movie Night in Belle River

Movie Night in Belle River was a great success!!

The 22 students and their siblings had a blast with Miss Michelle and the parents had a great night out. Great work and organization by the Parent's Council made the evening a huge success. We would like to especially thank the parents who made this possible: Chris Hilbert for the AV equipment and expertise; Natalie Jenking and Denise for the desserts; Lea Ingram for the shopping and cooking; the Morands for the movie; the help provided by Faye Garant and of course Miss Michelle for taking the time out to supervise the students.

It was a good evening and hope to plan another one soon.
