Old students never die, they just move or go into hiding. Being that we are approaching, and very quickly I might ad, the Holiday Season I always think about students of the past, who have moved on to other things. So in honour of these longtime students I am going to mention some of them that have come to mind recently.
Rob Thibert, away in Europe, but certainly not forgotten. We look forward to his return
Roxanne Mousseau, moved away last summer to Calgary in search of JOBS.
Sammy Han, relocated to Calgary for a new job.
Bill Brando, moved to the Toronto area, same theme, JOBS.
Jill Hauck, moved with Bill to Toronto. Hey Bill and Jill, give us a call sometime?
The Skoczen Family. Mark and Shelley, Mackenzie, Megan, Katie. I hear from them once in a while, time to come back...hint, hint.
And finally one who is not lost, nor forgotten, but due to circumstances is not training, Jessie Hiltz, come back soon!
Just as students leave other return. Bruno Lapico, a former student and Black Belt from the days of being with my instructor has returned with his daughter.
The list really does go on and on. These folks however deserve a higher mention. Martial Arts will always be a part of your life, whether you trained to Black Belt or not. I hope were ever you are in your life, you will pursue the training.
Yours in the arts,
Master Art Mason
